Roadway curbing will be constructed near the return entrance to the Rental Car Lot and the cargo facility at the Louisville International Airport on Monday, October 13 and Tuesday, October 14 from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. During project work hours (6 p.m.-6 a.m.), the return vehicle entrance to the Rental Car Lot and the entrance to the cargo facility will not be accessible through the main traffic lanes from I-264 (Watterson Expressway).
To access the return entrance for the Rental Car Lot or the cargo facility between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m., patrons need to follow the orange-and-black detour signs that will be posted along the roadway. (The main traffic lanes will be accessible outside of project work hours.) Drivers may also follow the directions below:
• Follow signs to Phillips Lane
• Turn left (west) onto Phillips Lane
• At the intersection, turn left (south) onto Crittenden Drive
• After passing under I-264 (Watterson Expressway), turn left (east) onto Martha Maloney Drive and continue onto Air Freight Drive
•The Rental Car Lot access will be on the left and the cargo facility access will be straight ahead
