At the annual meeting of the Board of Directors of the Louisville Regional Airport Authority on Wednesday, July 17, Mayor Greg Fischer reappointed Phil Lynch as Chairman of the Board. In addition, the Board re-elected Jim Welch as Vice Chairman and Jon Meyer as Secretary-Treasurer. Mr. Lynch is Vice President, Director of Corporate Communications for Brown-Forman.
He was appointed to the Board in April 2003, elected Vice Chairman in January 2004, and appointed Chairman in November 2009. Mr. Welch, a licensed pilot, was appointed to the Board in 2009 and is Vice Chairman of Brown-Forman Corporation, with global responsibility for corporate strategy, corporate affairs and diversity. Mr. Meyer was appointed to the Board and first elected Secretary-Treasurer in 2011. He is Partner and Chair of the Board of Jones of Nale & Mattingly PLC, Certified Public Accountants in Louisville, KY.
