Improved "The Sky's the Limit" Exhibit Returns to SDF

In honor of Black History Month, the Louisville Regional Airport Authority announces the return of the exhibit, “The Sky’s the Limit: A Celebration of the History of Black Achievement in Aviation” to the Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF) following a modernization of its display. This year celebrates five years for this specialty exhibit and the third time featured at SDF where it’s prominently displayed in the rotunda, at the entrance of Concourses A and B.

Through the use of visuals, visitors will see how Black men and women in history got their start in aviation, the adversity they experienced and ultimately, how they achieved greatness and rose to prominence. The exhibit spotlights 14 individuals and organizations. New this year is the modernization of the display to include additional images and four video spotlights of local Black aviation professionals with direct connections to SDF or Bowman Field.
