Mitchel Denham Appointed to Airport Authority Board

Mitchel Denham was recently appointed by Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear to the Board of the Louisville Regional Airport Authority for a four-year term through July 2024. He replaces William Byrley, whose term expired.
The Louisville Regional Airport Authority owns, operates and develops the Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF) and Bowman Field Airport (LOU).
Mr. Denham is currently a partner at the Louisville office of DBL Law, where he focuses on health care, government, employment, civil litigation, constitutional law and administrative law.
Prior to his time at DBL Law, Mr. Denham served as Assistant Deputy Attorney General in Kentucky and throughout this time oversaw nearly every division in the office that handled sensitive and high-profile matters. He also acted as the Attorney General’s designee for various groups including the Public Pension Oversight Committee, the Recovery Kentucky Task Force and the KASPER Advisory Council. He also was a member of the 2019 Leadership Kentucky class.
In addition to currently serving as the treasurer for the Norton Children’s Hospital Foundation, Mr. Denham regularly volunteers with the Bluegrass Center for Autism.
Mr. Denham received his bachelor’s degree from Centre College in Danville, KY and earned his law degree from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY. He currently resides in Louisville with his wife and three children.
