Timothy Haizlip Hired as Maintenance Director

Steve Petty, Deputy Executive Director of Operations for the Louisville Regional Airport Authority, announced today that Timothy N. Haizlip has been hired, effective October 15, to fill the position of Maintenance Director. Haizlip will oversee day-to-day operations and longrange programs for maintenance, repair and operational capability of all Airport Authority facilities—including buildings, runways, taxiways, airfield lighting and Authority vehicles.
He also will direct the Authority’s Snow Teams that, when needed, continuously clear snow and ice from runways and taxiways to ensure on-time aircraft operations during the winter. Petty noted, “Tim’s 19 years in the aviation industry, most recently as Director of Maintenance at the Capital Region Airport Authority in Lansing, Michigan, includes experience in virtually every facet of airport maintenance. We are pleased to have him join our team.” Haizlip has a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Public Administration from Northern Kentucky University. In addition he is an active member of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) as a Certified Member (C.M.)
